1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as your browser's local storage.

They help keep the service working and secure and - once you consent - enable traffic measurement, marketing and support.

2. Categories of cookies we use

We distinguish four categories. Necessary cookies do not need consent. Analytics, marketing and support cookies are only stored after you consent and you can refuse them at any time.

For each category we set out the purpose, an indicative storage duration, and whether and which third party has access to the data. Durations are indicative and providers may adjust them.

2a. Necessary cookies

Required for the website to work correctly, for sign-in and session handling, for protection against misuse and attacks, and for the technical stability and performance of the service. They do not require consent because they are necessary to provide the service you requested.

• Keeping your session and sign-in state (session, up to 2 hours)
• Protecting forms against cross-site request forgery (session, up to 2 hours)
• Remembering your cookie choice so we do not ask again (up to 12 months)

2b. Analytics cookies (optional)

To analyse traffic and improve the service we use Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC). They collect statistical data about how the site is used, such as the number of visits, traffic sources and pages viewed. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses; IP-based location is coarse and discarded after use. Loaded only after you give your consent.

2c. Marketing cookies (optional)

After you consent, they measure conversions, evaluate advertising campaigns and support relevant advertising, for example through Meta Pixel and Google Ads, including server-side measurement. Loaded only after you give your consent.

2d. Live chat / support (optional)

To provide customer support we use Chatwoot (Chatwoot Inc.). These cookies enable the display and operation of the chat widget. Loaded only after you give your consent.

3. Consent and how long it lasts

On your first visit we ask for your consent to the optional categories. Optional cookies are off by default - consent is an active choice, with no pre-ticked boxes.

The legal basis for optional cookies is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and the national law transposing Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC, in particular: Germany - § 25 TDDDG; Austria - § 165 TKG 2021; Poland - Art. 398 of the Electronic Communications Law Act (PKE), in force since 10 November 2024; Hungary - § 13/A of Act CVIII of 2001 (Eker. tv.); Czech Republic - § 89(3) of Act No. 127/2005 Coll.; Slovakia - § 109(8) of Act No. 452/2021 Coll..

Your consent stays valid for up to 12 months, after which we ask again. You can withdraw it or change your choice at any time via the “Manage cookies” button in the site footer, with effect for the future. Necessary cookies do not require consent.

4. Recipients and transfers outside the EU

The optional cookies involve the following providers: Google LLC (Google Analytics 4), Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (Meta Pixel) and Chatwoot Inc. (live chat). See those companies' privacy policies for details.

With Google and Meta, data may be transferred to the USA. The transfer relies on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified, otherwise on Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary measures. 5. Managing cookies in your browser

You can also restrict or block cookies in your browser's privacy settings. Disabling necessary cookies may affect how the Bloomsy service works.

6. Changes to this policy

If the way we use cookies changes, we will inform you and, where required, ask for fresh consent. The current version is always available on this page.
