What is Bloomsy?
Bloomsy is an online service for collecting photos and videos from guests via QR code. Create an event, download or print the QR code, and guests can upload photos or videos directly from their phone — no app required.
When will my event be activated?
The event is activated on the date you selected - but only after we receive your payment. Until then, it remains in draft.
Do guests need an app?
No. They just scan the QR code and upload photos or videos directly in the browser.
How do I create a printable template with QR code?
After choosing the event type, you can generate templates with QR codes to download and print for your venue.
How does the upload page work?
You can use a ready-made template or customize it to match your event style. Guests use it to upload content.
Can I protect uploads with a password?
Yes. You can set a password for uploading so only guests who know it can add photos and videos.
Can guests see the photos?
It’s up to you. You can keep the album private (only you see it) or allow guest viewing as a simple public album.
Who can see uploaded media?
By default only you (event owner) can see the album. You may enable a public album for guests or keep it private. Uploading can also be password-protected.
How long will the album be available online?
It depends on the selected plan. The event is first activated, then closed after the upload end date, and later archived according to the selected duration. Please download your album in time.
What happens after the upload end date?
After the upload end date, the event is closed and guests can no longer add new photos or videos. Once the event is archived, the content is removed from active storage within 14 days. Once deleted, files cannot be restored.
Can you restore my data after deletion?
No. Once the content is deleted, we cannot restore it, and after archiving we do not keep backups for user recovery.
Can I download everything?
Yes. You can download the entire album (photos and videos) at any time until the event is archived.
What payment methods are available?
You can pay by card or bank transfer. For bank transfer, activation happens only after payment is received.
Can I cancel or change my event date?
Yes. Until your website is activated, you can cancel your order or change the event date at any time — completely free of charge. Cancellation means a full refund to your account, no fees. After your website is activated (i.e. made accessible to your guests), changes are not standard procedure. If something exceptional happens, contact us and we will handle it individually.
Do I need an account?
No, you can purchase as a guest. However, if you create an account, you will keep order history, invoices and event settings - even after media are deleted.
Is this service suitable for businesses?
Yes. Bloomsy is for both individuals and companies. When ordering, just fill in company details. We are VAT payers.
